COLLECTEES: Collectively, we make tees.

Today in class, our professor Leif Peng pitched our final assignment to our class: do the culminating design project you've always wanted to do at Mohawk College, but never had the opportunity to work on. Together, Adam Excell, Meg Smith and Wayne Thayer chose to create a design collective to make silkscreened t-shirts (COLLECTEES).

At Mohawk College, only the Digital Graphic Design students are given the opportunity to silkscreen, so we jumped at the chance to get to use the facility before we all graduate. We will be documenting the whole process: talking about our ideas, experiences, and successes/failures. We hope that this will have the potential to go beyond our final assignment and that we'll all learn a little bit more about silkscreening and make it part of our respective Graphic Design careers. There you have it: the beginnings of COLLECTEES.

Thanks for reading, and check back soon for more updates.
